Animals may either be kept at the Great
House for mating and agistment, or the male can be taken to your farm,
within a radius of 50 miles, at no extra cost. Visiting females are kept
at the Great House at their owners risk, and insurance for their animals
is their responsibility throughout their stay.
It is essential that females arrive in a healthy condition and have been
wormed at least two days before hand. Ideally they will have been
recently shorn, or at least well clipped under the tail area. All
veterinary costs, if any, to be met by the client. These if at all
possible will be cleared by the client before necessary action is taken.
The Stud fee includes agistment at the Great House for up to 60 days
from mating. After that £5 per week per animal will be charged. Also
included is scanning by ultra sound, and a guarantee of a live cria on
the ground for 24 hours or a free return to service.
